Hardening Properties in Elastoplastic Material dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

Property View

To add hardening properties to a Samcef isotropic material, from the Property View list for an Isotropic material, select Samcef Isotropic Structure.

To add hardening properties to a Samcef orthotropic material, from the Property View list for an Orthotropic material, select Samcef Orthotropic Structure.

To add hardening properties to a Samcef anisotropic material, from the Property View list for an Anisotropic material, select Samcef Anisotropic Structure.

Stress-Strain Related Properties
Hardening Rule (HR) Lets you select the hardening model:IsotropicKinematicMixed Hardening****Sublayer Kinematic
Hardening Ratio (Between Isotropic and Kinematic Appears when the Hardening Rule (HR) list is set to Mixed Hardening.Lets you balance the hardening law between the standard Isotropic formulation and the full Kinematic one.For more information see the PE parameter in the Samcef Elastoplastic material page.
Kinematic Laws Appears when the Hardening Rule (HR) list is set to Kinematic or Mixed Hardening.Lets you define either a Prager (KPRA) or Ziegler (KZIE) kinematic hardening law.
Non-Linear Hardening Coefficient (NLH) Appears when the Hardening Rule (HR) list is set to Kinematic or Mixed Hardening.Lets you define the hardening coefficient.This coefficient can be temperature dependent.For more information see the NLH parameter in the Samcef Elastoplastic material page.
