Specifying harmonic index numbers
You can use a Harmonic Set modeling object to specify the harmonic index numbers for which you want the software to:
Calculate modes during the analysis.
Generate output.
You can use a Harmonics Set object in both Step - Axisymmetric Fourier Analysis and Step - Cyclic Modes steps. In the Post Processing Navigator, the software organizes the results for axisymmetric Fourier and cyclic symmetry analyses by harmonic index number.
The Harmonics options in the Harmonic Set dialog box define the set of harmonic numbers that are referenced by both the Simcenter Nastran HARMONICS and HOUTPUT case control commands.
For more information, see HARMONICS and HOUTPUT in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide.
