Create a solution from a load recipe

  1. In the Simulation NavigatorLoad Recipe Container node, right-click a load recipe and choose New Solution From Load Recipe.

  2. In the Solution dialog box, specify the solution name, solver, analysis type, and solution type.Note: To create a solution from a mode set load recipe, you must select Simcenter 3D Noise and Vibration from the Solver list and Vibro-Acoustic from the Analysis Type list. Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response is the only available solution type.If the Solution dialog box indicates that there are no valid solutions for the specified environment, you must choose a different solver, analysis type, or solution type.

  3. Click Create Solution.

  4. In the Subcase and Boundary Condition Creation group, from the Subcase Type list, select the type of subcase to create for this solution.Note: If the software determines the subcase type based on the selected solver, analysis type, solution type, and load recipe configuration, the appropriate option is selected automatically, and you cannot change it.

  5. From the Load or Boundary Condition Type list, specify how to handle the loads:Separated—The load recipe creates a separate load for each node, which can create a large number of objects in the Simulation Navigator. You can edit separated loads after they are created.Aggregated—The load recipe creates a single load for each load type, such as force, pressure, enforced velocity, and so on. Aggregating loads can significantly reduce the time it takes to create the solution and to display the loads in the Simulation Navigator. However, you cannot edit aggregated loads after they are created.File Reference—The load recipe creates a single load for each load type. In this case, the solver reads the data directly from the data source file, which can further improve performance. However, you cannot modify any of the data from the data source when you create the load recipe, and you cannot edit file reference loads after they are created. The available options vary, depending on the load recipe target type and other considerations. For more information, see Separated, aggregated, and file reference loads.

  6. Define other solution options as needed.

  7. Click OK.If errors or warnings are detected during the validation process, the Information window provides details. For more information, see Load recipe validation.
