Laminate Composites

Simcenter 3D Laminate Composites

Simcenter 3D Laminate Composites is a modular simulation toolset. It helps you create, optimize, and validate composite structures using the following solvers:Nastran (NX and MSC)ANSYSAbaqusLS-DYNASimcenter Samcef

Note:

You can only write out the LS-DYNA solver input file. This software does not support the LS-DYNA solver and cannot post process LS-DYNA results.

With Laminate Composites, you can:Define a laminate as a physical property on a mesh collector.Define a global layup composed of plies that are assigned directly on the model geometry.Create 3D meshes from global layups and 2D meshes.Graphically post process laminate results.Quickly identify critical areas in your design by:Enveloping ply results over all plies and for multiple load cases.Sorting and filtering results in tabular format. Recalculating ply results using modified laminate definitions without launching a new solution.Generate ply results for a base-driven random or sine event using the Dynamic Simulation solution process.
