Refine Mesh from Field dialog box

Select Mesh	Lets you select the mesh from which to create the field.
Mesh Size Field
Specify Field	Lets you select an existing mesh size field or construct a new field.
Mesh Parameters
Maximum Number of Iterations	Specifies the maximum number of remeshing iterations. The software remeshes the selected meshes until the element sizes match the sizes specified in the specified field.Enter a positive integer value between 0 and 10.
Target Minimum Element Length	Lets you specify the smallest desired edge length for an element during the mesh refinement process. If an element’s edge in the mesh reaches this minimum size, the software stops the refinement process in that local region. It continues the refinement process in other areas of the mesh where the minimum edge length has not been met.
Maximum Number of Nodes	Lets you specify the maximum number of nodes that the software can generate during the adaptive refinement process. If the node count reaches this limit, the software stops the refinement process.
Maximum Element Refinement Level	Lets you specify the extent of refinement that can occur to an element in each iteration. For example, if you specify a Maximum Element Refinement Level value of 8.0, the software cannot reduce the element’s size during the refinement process to less than 1/8 of its original size at the beginning of the iteration.
