Importing results on mixed-order elements (Simcenter Samcef)

When this software imports Simcenter Samcef results, results on the midside nodes of mixed-order elements are ignored. Such elements may exist, for example, when:

  • Pyramid elements exist in your mesh that transition between a tetrahedral mesh and an adjacent hexahedral mesh. For more information, see Pyramid element transitions.

  • You import results of a Simcenter Samcef model that is built and computed outside of this software.
