For tensor results, you can use the DOFS property to select components of the tensor. See Degrees of freedom below.

For shell-based results, you can use the Location list to select the shell location to which the result applies. See Location below.

User

For information, see User-defined time history graph results.

Categories and sub-categories

Use the Category list and the Sub Category list to select the result you want to define.

Degrees of freedom

For tensor results, you can define the components of the result to be output. For instance, you can only request the first component of a stress tensor. The components refer to the element's material axes.

Location

For shell results, you can use the Location list to choose between the Midplane, the Lower Skin, the Upper Skin, or All the shell positions:

Lower Skin

Only select the lower skin version of the result.

Upper Skin

Only select the upper skin version of the result.

Midplane

Only select the midplane version of the result.

All

Select all the positions in the shell.

For other elements, from the Location list, select Other elements.

Elements Selection

In the Select Elements group, select the elements to which you want to attach the result.
