Define a Simcenter Samcef UMAT material

Define a material with a UMAT model from scratch

1. Create a new material as described in Create a material.

2. Specify non-UMAT properties.

3. Click the User Models - Simcenter Samcef page, and from the Model Type list, select the appropriate UMAT model for that material type and specify the property values.

4. Click OK or Close to close all dialog boxes.

Define a material with a UMAT model from a standard library definition

1. Create a new material by copying a material from the Default Material Library as described in Create a new material by copying another material.

2. Click the User Models - Simcenter Samcef page, and from the Model Type list, select the appropriate UMAT model for that material type and specify the property values.

3. Click OK or Close to close all dialog boxes.
