Common Electrical model options

The following table provides information about the options you use to define electrical properties for isotropic materials supported by the electromagnetic solutions. These options are available on the Electromagnetic page in the Isotropic Material dialog box when you set the Model to Common Electrical.

For detailed information about defining these material properties, see your electromagnetic solver documentation.

Electrical Properties
The below properties are reciprocals of each other. Because you can enter values for both, you must ensure their accuracy.
Electrical Conductivity This property is the inverse of resistivity and is typically measured in Siemens per meter (S/m).
Resistivity This property is typically measured in Ohms and a length unit.
