Output a temperature field
This example shows how to create a result probe to output a temperature field for use in a Temperature constraint. The field is defined over time and along an edge. You use a query curve to specify the edge.
The model is a solved multiphysics thermal-structural axisymmetric model.
Choose Result Variables and create a result variable to define the temperature at nodes:Name = TKResult Type = TemperatureLocation = NodalComponent = Scalar, ScalarShell Section = TopBeam Section = Recovery Point CPly ID = 1Ply Layer = BottomOK
Choose Result Probe and create a result probe to generate the temperature results for all iterations.Name = TKDisk3AftFormula = TKIteration Category = NoneIteration Selection = All
Create a query curve. Selection Type = Query CurveNew New Query Curve = Disk3AftSelect the right edge along the third rotor. OK
Define how the query curve is used in the result probe. Curve Usage = Use VerticesDistance to Mesh Tolerance = 1Node Search Tolerance = 10
Generate output as a field.Output Options = FieldIndependent Domain = Multi-Domain, Time, CartesianDependent Domain = TemperatureCreate Output OK
Use the field in a Temperature constraint.
