Analysis Setup
Lets you add, modify, and inspect the function definition's durability simulation objects.
Add to List	Opens the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box that lets you add the durability simulation objects, filtered by the Function Definition category, to the durability simulation objects list.
Reset to Default	Resets the durability simulation objects list and removes all your modifications. A confirmation warning prevents an unintended reset.
Durability simulation objects list	List the durability simulation objects that define the parameters of the function definition analysis setup.The list displays the following information that you can sort using the column headings:TypeDisplays the durability simulation object type.ObjectDisplays the value of the durability simulation object.When you right-click a simulation object from the list, the following commands appear: InspectAvailable if a value is assigned to the simulation object.Opens the corresponding local analysis results dialog box that lets you inspect the properties of the selected durability simulation object.Choose Simulation ObjectOpens the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box, filtered by the selected simulation object type, and lets you select, edit, inspect, and create a durability simulation object of that type.InformationOpens an information window that lists the simulation object property values.
Type	Displays the type of the durability simulation object that you select from the list.
Object	Specifies a value of the durability simulation object that you select from the list.Select None if you want the function definition to ignore a selected durability simulation object.
Manage Objects	Opens the Durability Simulation Objects dialog box, filtered by the selected simulation object type, and lets you select, edit, inspect, and create a durability simulation object of that type.

Location
Location	Specifies the location for the function definition.Select ElementLets you select elements.Select NodeLets you select nodes.Select Strain GageLets you select strain gages.
Select Elements or Select Nodes
Available when Location is set to Select Elements or Select Nodes.
Group Reference	Lets you select or create one or more groups of elements or nodes for the function definition.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Element Group Selection or Node Group Selection	Opens the Group Selection dialog box that lets you select or create one or more groups of elements or nodes for the function definition.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object	Available when the Group Reference check box is cleared.Lets you select the elements or nodes for the function definition from the graphics window.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods	Available when the Group Reference check box is cleared.Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box that lets you specify the selection method to select the elements or nodes for the function definition.
Element Labels or Node Labels
Available when Location is set to Select Elements or Select Nodes.
Labels	Lets you select the elements or nodes using their labels.Use a space or comma to separate your entries.Use a colon or a dash to add a range of element or node labels.For example, type 1:10 or 1-10 to add all the element or node labels from 1 to 10.Use colons to add an incremented range of element or node labels.For example, type:1:9:2 to add element or node labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.1:10:2 to add element or node labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10.10:1:-2 to add element or node labels 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.Press Enter or click Select to add your entries.To edit your selection, click Edit Element Selection or Edit Node Selection .
Select Strain Gages
Available when Location is set to Select Strain Gage.
Strain Gage Selection	Opens the Strain Gage Selection dialog box that lets you select strain gages.
Strain gage list	Lists the selected strain gages.
