Enforced velocity constraint (ANSYS)
Use the Enforced Velocity Constraint command to apply a rotational velocity to your model. For example, you can use the Enforced Velocity Constraint command to define a constant velocity, or you can use a field to define a velocity that varies with time or frequency. You can also define the rotational axis. The options in the Enforced Velocity Constraint dialog box correspond to the parameters for the ANSYS CMDOMEGA command.
Currently, you can only define the enforced velocity in the global coordinate system. Pre/Post
Limitations
Pre/Post only supports enforced velocity constraints that are defined in the global coordinate system. If you import velocity constraints that are defined in a different coordinate system, Pre/Post transforms them to the global system.
Pre/Post supports the definition of the direction vector for the rotational axis (X1, Y1, Z1 and X2, Y2, Z2) for these constraints. During import, Pre/Post creates a new coordinate system that is parallel to the global coordinate system with its origin located at the X1, Y1, Z1 points defined in the input file for the constraint.
