SOL 414,129 Transient Response (Subcase - Nonlinear Dynamics) and SOL 414,103 Eigenvalues and Superelement Reduction (Subcase - Transient Preload)

Properties
Nonlinear Control Parameters (NLCNTL2) Appears when Step is set to Subcase - Transient Preload.Specifies a modeling object to define parameters that control the iteration strategy for the analysis. Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new modeling object. To filter a long list of modeling objects, click More Options to display options for searching and filtering the modeling objects. After you select a modeling object, click Edit to edit it.
Time Step Definition
Appears when Step is set to Subcase - Nonlinear Dynamics or Subcase - Transient Preload.
End Time Sets the ending time for the transient response analysis.Note: The transient response analysis begins at time equal to zero.
Number of Increments Sets the number of time steps in the transient response analysis.
Output Flag Specifies the time steps at which output occurs.Requested IncrementsProduce output at each of the time steps that occur because of the Number of Increments specification.Solution Step End TimeProduce output at the last time step only. All TimesProduce output at each of the time steps that occur because of the Number of Increments specification, and any time steps that result from the software sub-incrementing or bisecting the time steps that occur because of the Number of Increments specification.Skip FactorProduce output at some of the time steps that occur because of the Number of Increments specification. For example, if Skip Factor is set to 2, after a time step where output occurs, the next two time steps do not have output, unless one of them is the last time step.
Skip Factor Appears when Output Flag is set to Skip Factor.Specifies the number of time steps that occur between time steps that produce output.
Boundary Condition Control Variables
Evaluation Frequency Lets you define the frequency at which the loads will be evaluated for the Mechanical Loads Summary.
