Disable or enable the Solution Monitor

The standard behavior is to display the Solution Monitor for all solutions using the Simcenter Nastran solver. You can control whether Solution Monitor is displayed for selected solutions, and you can modify the default behavior of the Solution Monitor for all solutions.

Disable or enable the Solution Monitor for selected solutions

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click an active solution and choose Edit Solver Parameters.

2. In the nastran Command Keywords group:Clear the Solution Monitor check box to disable the Solution Monitor for this solution.Select the Solution Monitor check box to enable the Solution Monitor for this solution.

Modify the default behavior for all new solutions

1. Choose File→Utilities→Customer Defaults.

2. In the Customer Defaults dialog box, select Simulation→Pre/Post→Nastran.

3. On the Solver Parameters tab:Clear the Solution Monitor check box to disable the Solution Monitor for all solutions.Select Solution Monitor check box to enable the Solution Monitor for all solutions.
