Laminate quick report

The laminate quick report exports the results summaries to an Excel spreadsheet or a CSV file without querying the active FEM. Because the laminate quick report queries the results sets without accessing the FEM, the report is processed quickly. This command is especially useful for large and numerous solutions.

The quick report contains:

  • A top summary table that lists the worst ply values for all the result sets. A top summary exists only if more than one result set are selected.

  • A summary table for each result set.

The following laminate results are supported:

  • Shell Stress Resultants

  • Ply Stresses

  • Ply Strains

  • Ply/Bond Failure Indices

  • Ply/Bond Strength Ratios

The ply results are outputted in the ply coordinate system.

The software produces the laminate quick report from the results sets that you specify for the laminate post report metasolution.

Use the Quick Report command to specify the laminate results and the enveloping types that you want. You can change your specified settings using the Edit command that you access from the quick report node.

For each laminate result, you must specify an enveloping type. The software reports:

  • The maximum and minimum values of the specified laminate results if you select Max & Min.

  • The minimum values of the specified laminate results if you select Min.

  • The maximum values of the specified laminate results if you select Max.

  • The maximum absolute values of the specified laminate results if you select Max Absolute.

  • The minimum absolute values of the specified laminate results if you select Min Absolute.

The Max & Min option is useful to isolate the highest tensile and compressive stresses.
