1. Create a solution process and load the input files.
Before you perform a Model and Load Pre-processing task, a Simulation file must be the work and displayed part.
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click a simulation node and choose New Solution Process→Model and Load Pre-processing. Type a name for the new pre-processing solution and click OK.
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the pre-processing solution and choose Add Load→Input File.
Click Browse to navigate to and select the Motion results file, either Simcenter 3D Motion (.mres) or LMS Virtual.Lab Motion (.LMSMotionResults).
To populate the data from the results file to the fields in the data table, click the Refresh tool and click OK.The software populates the data.
To remove quantities you are not interested in processing, double-click the Selected column of the quantity you want to remove. An x appears in the column and the software removes the quantity.
(Optional) To change the name of the data so you have unique target storage names, right-click the target storage name in the Target Storage Name column and choose Edit Target Storage Name . Type the new name.Note: Changing the target storage names lets you track different loads in the Data Set box of the Force from External File dialog box or in the Variable (Results) filter in the Scenario Based Data-Visualization dialog box.
