Loading superelements in post processing (Simcenter Samcef)

Loading the results

When you load the results of a system run, the Solution node in the Post Processing Navigator expands to display:

• The residual results.

• One superelement data block for each superelement that has been recovered. Superelements that have not been recovered will not appear.Note: Nastran superelements are always recovered and will appear in the Post Processing Navigator. Simcenter Samcef recovered superelements will also appear.

Superelement data blocks are listed by their SEID# number. You can preview the superelement ID in the FE Model Occurrences Attributes dialog box for selected superelement components.

The superelements will not be loaded when you load the results of the system run. To display a superelement, you must load it.

Loading the superelement data blocks

Right-click the superelement node and choose Load. You can load several superelements in one action by using SHIFT-select or CTRL-select on all the desired superelement nodes.

• Nastran superelements are always recovered and are displayed with their Full Representation.

• Simcenter Samcef superelements are displayed either in their Simplified Representation or in their Symbolic Representation, according to the representation you choose during the creation solution and/or the representation that you switch to in the Post View.

When the superelement is loaded and recovered, the recovered results will appear under the superelement node:
