Samcef environment > Solving a Samcef solution
About the shell batch run file (Simcenter Samcef)
When you export a model, you can create a Simcenter Samcef script file that contains the shell command you need to relaunch the solve from outside the Pre/Post environment.
The filename is the same as the created .dat Simcenter Samcef input file, but with a .samx extension.
The script contains the major Solver Parameters and Advanced Solver Options options like the required amount of memory or the Simcenter Samcef solver path.
Note:
The script is only created when you invoke the export from a Simulation file, not from a FEM part.
Example:
E:\Samcef\Exec_x64\samcef.cmd ba,me,sr samresmode=UNV58 mode=2 nom="test-Solution" zone=262M SMGUNIT=0 SMGHEADER=@@@CSH: SMGLEVEL=6 SMGDELAY=2 SMGKEYWORD=1 USE_UGS=1 banque="E:\Tmp\test-Solution.dat" stdout="E:\Tmp\test-Solution.log" link=n
For more information, see the running Samcef page in the Simcenter Samcef documentation.
