Find bodies with no material assignment

You can quickly determine which bodies in your part have no assigned material.

  1. With the part file or FEM displayed, choose MenuToolsMaterialsAssign Materials or ToolsMaterialsManage Materials.

  2. In the Material List, select Library Materials.

  3. In the Materials list, right-click any material and choose Show Body(s) Without an Assigned Material .All bodies with no assigned material are highlighted in the graphics window, as shown in the following example.
