Identify nodal coordinate systems
To determine the coordinate system assigned to nodes, or the nodes to which a coordinate system is assigned:
Choose Nodes and Elements tab→Checks and Information group→Nodal Coordinate System .
From the Type list, choose Displacement, Reference, or Reference & Displacement.
Select a node, geometry, or coordinate system. If you select a node or geometry, the software highlights the assigned coordinate system and displays the coordinate system type (Global or Local) in the Reference CS/Displacement CS text box.If you select a coordinate system, the software highlights entities related to the selected coordinate system.
For the selected coordinate system, you can change the display of related entities:Click Highlight Geometry to highlight all geometry that the selected coordinate system is assigned to.Click Highlight Nodes to highlight all nodes that the selected coordinate system is assigned to.
Click Highlight All Displacement CS or Highlight All Reference CS to highlight all the coordinate systems in the FE Model or Simulation that are currently used to define nodal displacement or reference coordinate systems.
