DOF component selection in constraints for axisymmetric models (Simcenter Samcef)
In constraints for Simcenter Samcef Axisymmetric and Other 2D Structural and Axisymmetric Thermal analyses, you can select only DOF components that correspond to the 2D Solid Option that you select.
For example, when you set 2D Solid Option to ZX Plane, Z Axis, in the User Defined Constraint constraint, you can select only DOF components that are in the ZX Plane:
DOF1 — Matches the X axis displacement.
DOF3 — Matches the Z axis displacement.
DOF5 — Matches the rotation in the ZX plane, that is, around the Y axis.
