Plotting results in a model with superelements (Nastran)

In a model that has superelements, when you have loaded the system run results, you can plot residual results in three ways:

(1) Simply Plot the residual result.
(2) Plot with Loaded Super Elements will plot the results alongside the contour of the superelement for the particular result.
(3) Overlay the results in the same Post View. For more details, see Overlay post views.

When you simply Plot a result, you will display the main model with that result. The superelements of the model are not displayed.

Plotting a residual result with unloaded Nastran superelements

With Plot With Loaded Super Elements, you plot the result alongside the contour of the superelement for that result type.

If the result of the superelement is not recovered for that particular result type, the superelement is not represented in the post view.

When the superelement is loaded, its results will appear under the superelement node:

You can plot any of its particular result type. Only the superelement with its particular result will be displayed:
