Create a 1 Way Thermal Coupling
Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Thermal Coupling — Advanced .
In the Thermal Coupling — Advanced dialog box, select 1 Way from the Type list.
Select a Primary Region to represent the starting surface of the one way coupling.
Select a Secondary Region to represent the ending surface of the one way coupling.
In the Magnitude group, select the Type of the thermal coupling.
Depending on the Type option you select, specify an expression for Conductance or Coefficient or a field varying with time, temperature, heat flow rate, temperature difference, or thermal capacitance between the two regions.
In the Additional Parameters group, select a Coupling Resolution option form the list.
Select the Overlap Projection Direction, or clear the Only Connect Overlapping Elements check box if your geometry requires it.
Repeat steps 2 to 8 to create a chain of one-way conductances.Make sure that the most upstream and most downstream end of the chain of one-way conductances are temperature constrained elements, for example you can define a Temperature or Convection to Environment constraint.
