Revert material properties to their inherited values

When you make changes to several material properties in a copied material, you can easily manage those changes using the Reset to Defaults capability, available in the Materials dialog box. This table lists all material properties along with their original values and the current values that you have changed. You can reset the current values back to the original values.

  1. In the Materials dialog box (for example, after you create a new material by copying a library material), expand the Reset to Defaults group.

  2. From the list of material properties, select the rows that contain the override values that you want to restore to the inherited values. Or, click the Select All button to select all rows.

  3. Click Remove Override .
