Mean Constraint dialog box (Simcenter Samcef thermal)

Type
Type Specifies the type of mean constraint: Mean Between a Node and Nodes or Mean Between a Node and Elements/Element Faces/Element Edges.
Name
Name Sets the name of the mean constraint that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation Objects Container node.
Description Sets the description.
Destination Folder
Simulation Objects Container Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the mean constraint is stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command.
Slave Node
Select Object Lets you select the slave node.
Master Nodes
Appears when Type is set to Mean Between a Node and Nodes.
Group Reference Lets you use a group. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select FEM entities.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Master Elements/Faces/Edges
Appears when Type is set to Mean Between a Node and Elements/Element Faces/Element Edges.
Group Reference Lets you use a group. For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Object Lets you select FEM entities.

Parameters
Lagrange Option (NALG) Specifies the Augmented Lagrangian Method or Classical Lagrangian Method.For more information, see the NALG parameter of the Samcef MEAN element.
Ancillary Display
For more information, see Ancillary Display dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)
Card Name Displays the name of the solver card this object writes to: .MEAN.
