Streamlines dialog box

Option Description
Modifies the streamlines that track the path of the particles in the instantaneous velocity results in the Solution Control Monitor graphics window.
Tube Radius Sets the streamline tube weight, relative to the model. The radius of the tube indicates the divergence of the flow.
Length Sets the span for generating the streamline. For example, you can significantly extend the length of the streamline to span the entire domain.
Seed Ratio Sets the distribution of streamlines in the model relative to the model size.
Integration
Type Specifies the method to compute the slopes of the streamline.Runge Kutta 2Uses second-order Runge Kutta method .Runge Kutta 4Uses fourth-order Runge Kutta method .Runge Kutta 45Uses fourth-order Runge Kutta method with an fifth-order error estimator.
Direction Specifies the direction for generating streamlines.ForwardExtracts streamlines in the positive direction of the velocity vector from the seed point.BackwardExtracts streamlines in the negative direction of the velocity vector from the seed point.BothExtracts streamlines in both directions from the seed point. This option is useful when specifying seed points that are positioned on an interior plane.
Initial Integration Step Sets the initial time increment to generate the streamlines.
Max Number of Steps Sets the maximum interval between successive stream tubes on all streamlines.
Reset Resets the changes you made to the default values.
