Solution Monitor dialog box (Thermal/Flow/SST/ESC/Multiphysics/Simcenter Nastran/Samcef)

Command	Description
Abort	Not available for Simcenter Nastran and Simcenter Samcef solutions.Terminates the analysis. Use this option only when you do not want to keep any of the calculated result files. This option: Does not perform result post processing.Removes all temporary files.
Close Monitor	Available only for Simcenter Nastran and Simcenter Samcef solutions.Closes the Solution Monitor window, but the analysis continues until the end.
Stop	Available for flow, coupled thermal-flow, Simcenter Samcef, and Simcenter Nastran SOL 402 solutions. Stops the analysis but allows you to keep the calculated data. This option: Performs result post-processing and creates a results BUN or OP2 file.Saves the necessary solution files required to restart or continue the run. Note: Restarting SOL 402 is explained in External restarts.
Get Results	Available for flow, thermal, coupled thermal-flow, and Simcenter Nastran SOL 402 solutions.Generates a BUN file or OP2 file (SOL 402) with intermediate results that you can import in the Post Processing Navigator. The software writes the BUN file at the end of the current iteration or timestep, or for SOL 402, writes the OP2 file at the next iteration for which the subcase is configured to output the results. The solution continues after the results are written.Note: For a flow or coupled thermal-flow solutions, you must use the parallel flow solver.
Graph(s)	Plots graphs that are provided by the solvers. For example, you can plot convergence as a function of iterations in the flow solver.ExportWrites the values displayed in the graph to a CSV file.DismissCloses the graphs window.
Info	Available only for flow and coupled thermal-flow solutions.Displays a summary of the model at the current iteration. The displayed values correspond to current values that are plotted in the graph’s window.
Inspect	Locks the running message display in the Solution Monitor window and lets you scroll to observe the summary information of previous iterations.
SC Monitor	Not available for Simcenter Nastran and Simcenter Samcef solutions.Generates a real-time 3D animation of thermal and thermal-flow solution results in the Solution Control Monitor to evaluate and interrogate the results on your model, while they are computed by the solver.
Search box	Lets you type words or expression to locate in the displayed information. The query searches for the exact expression you type and your search results are highlighted in the displayed information. The basic search is not case-sensitive and you can use * (star) as a wildcard.
