2a. Define the planar symmetry.

  1. Select Point on Symmetry Plane and then specify the point where you want to create the plane.You can click Point Dialog to specify the point using the Point dialog box, or select the point creation method from the list and then take the appropriate action in the graphics window.

  2. To specify the vector normal to the plane, select Specify Vector and then select the appropriate axis in the displayed triad in the graphics window.You can also click Vector Dialog to specify the vector using the Vector dialog box, or select the vector creation method from the list and then take the appropriate action in the graphics window.To reverse the direction of the vector, click Reverse Direction .

  3. Click OK.
