Test Analysis Reference Solution dialog box
| Name | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the name of the solution process. |
| Analysis Results Source | |
| Source | Specifies the source of the analysis modal results.SolutionSpecifies the analysis results from the normal modes solution.Pre-Test SolutionSpecifies the analysis results from the pre-test solution process. |
| Detect Active Mode Sensors | Detects the active mode sensors and their DOFs based on the modal data retrieved from the solution. The software omits the inactive DOFs and lists them in an Information window. The measured value of an inactive sensor is zero or relatively small compared to the rest of the data. This option works for both DOF sets and sensor or exciter DOFs. |
| Solution Options | |
| Appears when Source is set to Solution. | |
| Select DOF Set | Specifies the DOF set from the modal solution. |
| Pre-Test Solution Options | |
| Appears when Source is set to Pre-Test Solution. In case of any conflicts between DOFs included in the selected sensor or exciter configuration, you can choose the configuration the solver uses to compute the DOFs. | |
| Select Sensor Configuration | Specifies the sensor configuration from the selected pre-test solution process. |
| Select Exciter Configuration | Specifies the exciter configuration from the selected pre-test solution process. |
| Wireframe | |
| Method | Specifies the method for defining wireframe elements between all nodes of the DOF set.AutomaticCreates a wireframe between the nodes of the DOF set, or between all the nodes in the sensor and exciter configurations.Nodes that the solver cannot connect based on the geometry and/or the wireframe connection options, are located in a group under the Group node in the Simulation Navigator.ManualUses supported 1D elements associated with the selected element groups. The groups can contain elements and or meshes. You create the elements prior to creating the test analysis reference solution by using:The element creation commands in the FEM part. The Create Wireframe Elements command to create wireframe elements from a group of nodes defined in a DOF set.The Wireframe Elements command to create wireframe elements from selected nodes.A combination of all methods. |
| Group Reference | Appears when Method is set to Manual.Lets you select one or more groups containing 1D or 2D elements, which you already created using the element creation commands in the FEM part, or with the Create Wireframe Elements command. Click Group Reference to select the group from the list in the Group Selection dialog box or create a new group. |
| Include Unattached Visualization Nodes | Appears when Method is set to Manual.Lets you include the visualization nodes that are not attached to any wireframe elements in the selected group(s). |
| Options | |
| Appears when Method is set to Automatic. | |
| Min Angle Between Wires | Sets the minimum angle between the wires connected to a given node. The minimum angle in degrees must be greater than 0. |
| Max Number of Wires per Node | Sets the maximum number of wires that connect any node to other nodes. The maximum number of wires must be greater than 0. |
| Max Distance Ratio | Sets the ratio of the distance between two connected nodes over the average distance of the six closest nodes. The maximum distance ratio must be greater or equal to 1. |
| Preview | Displays the automatically computed wireframe elements. When you change the options the Preview is updated. |
