Fixed constraint (Simcenter Samcef)
You can define a Fixed Constraint to fix several translational or rotational degrees of freedom (DOF).
Types of fixed constraints
| Constraint type | Description | Corresponding Simcenter Samcef input file entry |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed Constraint | Fixes all six degrees of freedom (DOF). | .CLM FIX NOEUD - |
| Fixed Translation Constraint | Fixes the three translational DOF. All rotational DOF are free. | .CLM FIX NOEUD - C 1/2/3 |
| Fixed Rotation Constraint | Fixes the three rotational DOF. All translational DOF are free. | .CLM FIX NOEUD - C 4/5/6 |
Where do I find it?
