Mesh multiple domains from closed 2D shell meshes

This example shows how to mesh multiple domains from closed 2D shell meshes using the 3D Hybrid from Shell Mesh command.

Note:

.

Choose Home tab→Mesh group→3D Hybrid From Shell Mesh .

Select closed 2D meshes.

Set the following:

  • Type = CTETRA(4)

  • Element Size = 5

  • Click Coordinate System.

  • Mesh Interior Volumes

  • Click OK.
