Response Dynamics
Response Dynamics status labels
In the Simulation Navigator, the Status column communicates the status of the Response Dynamics solution process or an event in a solution process.
| Status label | Description |
|---|---|
| Active | The solution process or event is currently active. If it is not also Locked, you can change attributes, add events or excitations, and so on. |
| Locked | There are result files associated with an event in this solution process. You cannot edit the attributes of locked events or the modal settings of the solution process, such as damping and the list of active modes. You cannot add, edit, or delete excitations. To clear the Locked status of an event, you can delete the results. To edit the modal settings of a locked solution process, right-click the solution process and choose Unlock Modal Settings. |
| Obsolete | The date of the solver results file is newer than the date of the solution process. This issue can occur when you solve the solution again after creating the solution process. If you are using Teamcenter Integration, this issue can also occur after saving all of your files or when reloading a simulation from Teamcenter. You can use the Check Obsolete Status command to clear the obsolete status of a solution process. If your modal shapes are consistent with the solution process, this command is available when you right-click the obsolete solution process. If the mode shapes are not consistent with the solution process because you changed something in the model, such as the mesh or a boundary condition, this command clears the obsolete status only if the customer default Allow Override of Obsolete Status is selected. |
