Rigid wall definition (LS-DYNA)

In the LS-DYNA environment, use the Rigid Wall Definition command to simulate impact analyses with planar rigid walls. You can use the options in the Rigid Wall Definition dialog box to:

  • Specify the properties of the wall, such as its size and whether it has an initial mass and velocity.

  • Define the contact interaction that occurs at the wall.

  • Specify the nodes in the model that are slave nodes to the rigid wall.

The Rigid Wall Definition command corresponds to the LS-DYNA *RIGIDWALL_PLANAR keyword.
