Switch between the model view and contour plots

Display the model view

To display the model view in a post view that currently displays a contour plot:

• Choose Results tab→Context group→Return to Model .Tip: You can also right-click the background of the post view, and choose Return to Model.

The software removes the post view from the current viewport and replaces it with the model view. The software retains the removed post view, as well as its results option settings.

A question mark in the Post Processing Navigator to indicate that it is inactive and the text Undisplayed Contour Plots appears.

Restore an inactive post view

1. In the Post Processing Navigator, select the post view with the text Undisplayed Contour Plots.

2. Choose Results tab→Post View group and select a color display:Contour Plot MID Based Color PID Based Color Mesh Based Color For more information about color displays, see Color displays in post views.

3. In the Viewport dialog bar, click Select Viewport by Cursor and click a viewport containing a model view.

The software activates the post view and sets it to the selected color display.
