Displaying alternate FEM representations

Use the Graphical Representation options in the FE Model Component Representation dialog box to control how the software displays the alternate representation of the component FEM or assembly FEM model when you create a mode set or FRF set.

Graphical Representation option Description Example
Approximation of base FEM Displays a transparent, non-selectable approximation of the nodes and elements of the base FEM file.
Super Element Symbol Displays a generic, symbolic representation of the representation as a spider element
None The software does not display any graphical representation of the alternate representation.
