Assign prerequisite solutions

Assign prerequisite solutions to a solution when you want the software to automatically solve a set of solutions in a specified sequence.

1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the solution to which you want to assign prerequisites, and choose Manage Prerequisite Solutions.

2. In the Prerequisite Manager dialog box, in the Prerequisite Solutions group, select the solutions that you want the software to solve before it solves the master solution.Note: Do not select imported solutions. The software skips imported solutions when they are prerequisites.

3. If the master solution is a Simcenter Samcef solution, expand the Predefined Prerequisite Solutions group to display the Simcenter Samcef solutions that are chained to it.To change predefined prerequisite solutions, see Chaining solutions (Simcenter Samcef).

4. To display the prerequisite solutions in the sequence in which the software will solve them, click Show Full Solution Chain.

5. Click OK.
