Boundary conditions > Associating boundary conditions with a solution

Explicitly add a boundary condition to a solution, step, or subcase

  1. If necessary, in the Simulation Navigator, right-click the destination solution, solution step, or subcase and choose Make Active.

  2. Expand the boundary condition container (Load Container, Constraint Container, or Simulation Object Container).

  3. Select one or more boundary conditions or boundary condition folders, and:Drag the selected objects to the appropriate container in the active solution or step.Right-click the selected objects and choose Add to active solution or step.

To explicitly remove a boundary condition or boundary condition folder from the active solution or solution step, right-click the boundary condition where it appears inside the solution and choose Remove.
