Keep Overlapping constraints conflict resolution option (Simcenter Samcef)

When you resolve boundary conditions conflicts (Resolving boundary condition conflicts), the Keep Overlapping resolution option allows you to retain the intersecting boundary conditions. If the retained boundary conditions are defined with displacement coordinate systems, the Keep Overlapping option can lead to problems in solvers because Simcenter Samcef allows only one boundary condition displacement coordinate system per node.

Therefore, when you resolve constraints conflicts in the Simcenter Samcef environment, we recommend that you avoid the Keep Overlapping option and use the other options to resolve the conflict.
