Aerodynamic Trim Variables Constraints dialog box

Modeling Object
Name Specifies a descriptive name for this modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for this modeling object.
Properties
Description Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Mach Number Specifies the Mach number to use in the static aeroelastic response analysis.
Pressure Altitude Specifies the pressure altitude to use in the static aeroelastic response analysis.
Dynamic Pressure Specifies the dynamic pressure to use in the static aeroelastic response analysis.
Calculate Dynamic Pressure from Pressure Altitude and Mach Number Calculates the dynamic pressure from the pressure altitude and Mach number that you specify using the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA).
Trim Analysis Type Specifies the trim analysis type.StandardUse to account for structural deformation on the loading.RigidUse to ignore the effect of structural deformation on the loading.
Standard Variables
Angle of Attack - R2 (ANGLEA) Angle of Sideslip - R3 (SIDES) Roll Rate - R1 (ROLL) Pitch Rate - R2 (PITCH) Yaw Rate - R3 (YAW) Longitudinal - T1 (URDD1) Lateral Acceleration - T2 (URDD2) Vertical Acceleration - T3 (URDD3) Roll Acceleration - R1 (URDD4) Pitch Acceleration - R2 (URDD5) Yaw Acceleration - R3 (URDD6) Selects the trim variable
Magnitude Appears when you select a standard trim variable.Lets you assign a numerical value to the trim variable.
User Variables
Variable 1 through Variable 10 Lets you create user-defined trim variables.Select an existing trim variable modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. To filter a long list of modeling objects, click More Options to display options for searching and filtering the modeling objects. For more information, see Filter options.
Control Surface Variables
Variable 1 through Variable 10 Lets you create aerodynamic control surface variables.Select an existing aerodynamic control surface variable modeling object from the list or click Create Aerodynamic Control Surface to create a new one.Click Variable to select an aerodynamic control surface variable from the graphics window or from the Simulation Navigator.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. To filter a long list of modeling objects, click More Options to display options for searching and filtering the modeling objects. For more information, see Filter options.
Magnitude Appears when you select an aerodynamic control surface variable.Lets you assign a numerical value to the aerodynamic control surface variable.
