Nastran environment > Nastran rotor dynamic analysis (SOL 414)

Set the duration of the simulation

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, under an active SOL 414,129 Transient Response solution, right-click Subcase - Nonlinear Dynamics and choose Edit.

  2. In the Solution Step dialog box, in the Time Step Definition group, in the End Time box, type a value to define the duration of the simulation.

  3. (Optional) From the Output Flag list, select an option to specify the time steps at which output occurs.

  4. (Optional) In the Skip Factor box, type a value to define the number of time steps that occur between time steps that produce output.

  5. Click OK.
