| Modeling Object | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the name of the Homogeneous Gas Mixture modeling object name.Description opens a text editor which lets you type a description for the simulation object. |
| Mixture Definition | |
| Gas 1 (Primary) | Specifies the primary material for the gas mixture.Select a primary material or click Choose material to create a new material.Note: The primary fluid material must have a gas constant defined. |
| Gas 2 to Gas 5 | Specify the material for the species in the mixture.Select a material from the list or click Choose material to create a new material.Note: You can only select fluid materials with a gas constant defined. |
| Mixture Properties—Molecular Diffusion Coefficients | |
| Gas 2 to Gas 5 | Set the molecular diffusion coefficient of the species used in the scalar equation. |
| Mixture Properties—Turbulent Schmidt Numbers | |
| Gas 2 to Gas 5 | Set the turbulent Schmidt number ScT which measures the ratio of momentum to mass diffusivity of the corresponding species in the mixture. |
