Exciter set information
In the Simulation Navigator, use the Information right-click command:
On the Configurations [#] node (1) to display the exciter selection settings for all the configurations.
On an exciter selection configuration node (2) to display the details for an exciter set. The following example shows details for an exciter set.

The information window lists the exciter set information in the EXCITER SELECTION CONFIGURATION INFORMATION and the EXCITER SET DETAILS INFORMATION sections.
The EXCITER SELECTION CONFIGURATION INFORMATION section lists the settings that you entered in the Edit Exciter Selection Configuration dialog box when you selected the normal mode indicator function (NMIF) algorithm.
------------------------------------------------------------ EXCITER SELECTION CONFIGURATION INFORMATION ------------------------------------------------------------ Configuration name : NMIF 1Method : NMIFDamping Ratio : 2.000000NMIF Threshold : 0.600000Off Axis Angle : 45 deg
Damping Ratio
The specified damping percentage ratio that is associated with the normal modes and that is used by the exciter selection algorithm.
NMIF Threshold
The specified threshold for the NMIF that is used by the exciter selection algorithm to find the optimum number of exciters and the optimum location for these exciters.
Off Axis Angle
The allowed orientation for the exciters.
The EXCITER SELECTION CONFIGURATION INFORMATION section lists the method name when you selected the driving point residue (DPR) algorithm.

Exciter No.
The identifier for the exciter.
Node
The node number where the exciter is located.
eX, eY, and eZ
The direction cosines for the X, Y, and Z direction, respectively. These direction cosines define the orientation of the exciter.
Number of Modes Excited
The number of analysis normal modes that are excited by the exciter. The numbers listed for Excited modes for exciter : # are the identifiers for each analysis mode that is excited.
Max NMIF
The maximum value of the normal mode indicator function of the exciter that is determined by the exciter selection algorithm. See Normal Mode Indicator Function (NMIF) algorithm for the maximum NMIF equation.
Weighted Avg. NMIF
The weighted average value of the normal mode indicator function of the exciter that is determined by the exciter selection algorithm. See Normal Mode Indicator Function (NMIF) algorithm for the weighted average NMIF equation.
The EXCITER SET DETAILS INFORMATION section lists the number of exciters in the configuration, information about each exciter, and the sorting criterion for each exciter if you selected the DPR algorithm.
