Specify the solver output file for a solution

Associate a results file with a solution

1. In the Simulation Navigator, expand the solution node, right-click the Results node, and choose Specify.

2. In the Results File Name group, click Browse to navigate to and select the file.The file name is displayed in the Results File Name box, and the path is displayed in the Directory box.

3. Click OK.In the Simulation Navigator, the status of the Results node is updated to Specified.

Associate a directory with a solution

1. In the Simulation Navigator, expand the solution node, right-click the Results node, and choose Specify.

2. In the Directory group, click Browse to navigate to the directory. Click OK.

3. Click OK.In the Simulation Navigator, the status of the Results node is updated to Inferred.

Infer the results file

To undo any explicit solver results file associations with the current solution:

• Right-click the Results node and choose Infer Result File.

In the Simulation Navigator, the status of the Results node is updated to Inferred.
