ANSYS commands supported for import and export

The following table lists all ANSYS commands that are supported for import and export.

  • Commands are supported for both import and export, unless otherwise noted.

  • Only supported commands are listed.

  • Only supported variables are listed.

Structural and Thermal Contact Commands

ANSYS contact and target elements (TARGE169, TARGE170, CONTA172, CONTA173, CONTA174, CONTA175, and CONTA177) are supported in Pre/Post. When you import these elements, the software creates a Structural Contact or Thermal Contact simulation object in the Simulation file. See Surface-to-Surface Contact (Simcenter Nastran, Simcenter 3D Multiphysics, Abaqus, ANSYS) for more information.

Note:

Only surface-to-surface contact (TARGE170, CONTA174) elements are supported on import.
