Tangent Region Faces Example
In this Defeature Geometry example, the Face Rule is set to Tangent Region Faces. This rule is similar to Region Faces, but it allows you to limit the tangency to the features within the region bounded by your selections. You select the small face on the top of the red boss as the seed face and then select the yellow fillets on the top edge and on the bottom of the hole as the outside boundary faces of the region of tangent features to remove. Then you click the middle mouse button to accept the defined region. The command can then be completed to remove the tangent features.
Note:
A warning message appears to alert you about the number of faces that are not removed.
