Add a constraint to a constraint set

You can create constraints in your constraint sets, or you can add your constraints to a constraint set after you create them. These examples show how to add an Automatic Coupling constraint to a Multipoint Constraint Set.

Create a constraint in your constraint set

  1. In the Simulation Navigator, right-click your multipoint constraint set and choose NewAutomatic Coupling.

  2. In the Automatic Coupling dialog box, specify the independent geometry, dependent geometry, reference coordinate system, and the degrees of freedom to couple.

  3. Click OK or Apply.

Add an existing constraint to a constraint set

  • In the Simulation Navigator, drag the constraint to the desired constraint set.
