Harmonic Event dialog box
| Name - Description | |
|---|---|
| Name | Sets the harmonic load event name. |
| Description | Sets the harmonic load event description. |
| Data Source | |
| Data Source | Lets you select or create a harmonic data source for the harmonic load event. A harmonic data source consists of a mode set, forcing frequencies, and vibration inputs.Select a predefined harmonic data source from the list or click Create Data Source to create one using the Harmonic Data Source dialog box. |
| Scaling | |
| Scaling Factor | Sets a greater than zero factor for scaling the vibration input functions that are defined in the load event’s harmonic data source. |
| Load Length | |
| Duration | Lets you specify the loading duration.Use Existing Duration InformationReuses the duration information available in the data source for the load event.Enter DurationLets you enter the duration of the load case in the Duration box.No Duration Information AvailableIndicates that no duration information is available. |
| Distance | Lets you specify the load event corresponding riding distance. For example, if a load event corresponds to 5000 km on a road and the durability simulation estimates that the load can be endured 300 times, this corresponds to a mileage of 150000 km.Enter DistanceLets you enter the distance of the load event in the Distance box.No Distance Information AvailableIndicates that no distance information is available. The software does not generate any mileage information for the post-processing. |
| Temperature Source | |
| Temperature Source | Specifies the temperature source to assign to the load event. |
| Create Temperature Source | Opens the Temperature Source dialog box that lets you create a temperature source. |
| Edit Temperature Source | Available when you select a temperature source from the list.Opens the Temperature Source dialog box that lets you modify the selected temperature source. |
