Create a design sensitivity analysis solution
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the simulation node and choose New Solution.
In the Name box, type a unique name for the solution.
From the Solver list, select Simcenter Nastran or MSC Nastran.
From the Analysis Type list, select Structural or Vibro-Acoustic.
From the Solution Type list, select SOL 200 Design Sensitivity Analysis.
Click Create Solution.
On the Case Control page, from the Design Sensitivity Output list, select the desired option for handling the output:With Headings and Labels—Prints the output with headings and labels.Matrix Print—Prints the output as general matrix data blocks.For more information, see MATPRN.No Output—Prints no output.
Complete the other options on the Solution dialog box as needed for your particular analysis type and objectives.For more information, see Solution dialog box (Nastran), Case Control page and Solution dialog box (Nastran), Bulk Data page.
Click OK.
To create a solution step, select the desired type from the Step list, click Create Step, complete the Solution Step dialog box, and then click OK.
