Solution dialog box — Solution Units

Option	Analysis Type	Description
Solution Units
Solve-Time Units	all	Specifies a unit system for the analysis. The solver uses the units of the selected units system or current part to generate results files, message files, and report files.Note: When you perform a restart or use an initial condition from the results of another analysis, make sure that the units are the same for both analyses.
Temperature	all	Appears when Solve-Time Units is set to anything except Current Part.Specifies the solve-time temperature units for the analysis. You can select standard or absolute temperature units that correspond to the Solve Time Units system you select.Celsius or Kelvin appear on the Temperature list only when you select an SI-based unit system.Fahrenheit or Rankine appear on the Temperature list only when you select an English-based unit system.Note: When you perform a restart or use an initial condition from the results of another analysis, make sure that the units are the same for both analyses.
Units Information
Units Information	all	Displays the units that are derived from the solve-time units system you selected. These units appear in the results files, message files, and report files of the analysis.Note: These units are for information only. They cannot be modified.
