Pressure
You can use the Pressure command to apply a pressure load uniformly and in any direction for polygon edges, polygon faces, curves, and elements, depending on the load type.
| You can apply this type of pressure load | To this geometry or FE entity |
|---|---|
| Normal Pressure on 2D Elements or 3D Element FacesNormal Pressure on 2D ElementsComponents****Normal on 2D Elements or 3D Elements (Abaqus) | Polygon faceElement |
| On Beams****On 2D Solid Elements | CurvePolygon edgeElement |
| **On 2D Solid Elements (Normal to Edge)**On Axisymmetric Elements (Normal to Edge) XY (Abaqus) | Polygon edgeElement edge |
